but there is "no value in a losing bet" They did win the ml with the pacers last night when everyone else bet the line. they also posted that if you couldn't play the mL then to buy it down to pacers -4 (push) which would of saved you money. I think that they are extremely good and they produce winners no matter how they play it.

wsox, not a joke to me my man. Their NBA has won me money this week on a 5-0 run, and I have won enough money in MLB this year to last the rest of the summer. If you don't like the info, then just don't read my posts, but others on this site follow it and have asked me to post when I can. Play the games however you like to, but don't rip a service who documents their results and makes their clients money!

A couple of observations and hope everyone is having a winning day:

1) Champion Sports that was Wilson Avarez that started for the Dodgers and your big pick today. Hes been around about 13 years, no biggie but if I was paying for picks or foolish enough to blindly follow a service I would expect that the service would know the name of the starting pitcher.

2) The VSS Wins thing (I think I got their name right)...It does seem like that service puts up more winners than losers although I dont have the exact numbers but how cany anybody recommend to constantly lay -120/-130/-140 in hoops. That type of vig will kill you because it will increase your break even point from 52+% to more like 55% or higher...its bad gambling over time pure and simple.

3) A ton of money was lost on the Astros on this weekend.

4) Appreciate all the effort and insight in this forum

vsi, sandman, etc...

I appreciate ANYONE who posts services here. like most feel, play or don't play (for information purposes only) - it's your perogative. however, I have been playing bases for almost 15 yrs. and learned very quickly the way to win playing baseball is betting dogs and short faves. I couldn't play with a service like sandman since he does give out 1.70-2.00 faves fairly frequently. when you asking a client to bet TO WIN 5% of your bankroll, a couple of loses and you could go in the tank pretty fast. esp. for a service that has been sucessful this year, I would play a little more conservatively. which means, not betting run lines either or buying points in basketball (like vsi).

again, not bashing the service, we just have a different philosophy on baseball handicapping. in my opinion, you can win with this strategy in a given year, but over the long haul, it will be hard to show a profit over the long haul.
