Just wanted to say thanks to the guys in charge here, you run a nice site and with little or no BS. Sometimes "Touts" take advantage of posting forums like this one and really does not think about what he or she is doing before its done, next thing you know you have enemies and people bash you for the heck of it. Well that happened to me when I first started my small Tout service on the web and just not being the bigger man, I talked alot of BS and now still today have a rep of being a scam, rip-off ect...
Some things will never change, and thats what they say about fools - well I'm no fool and I made the change and for the last 3 years plus have ran an honest shop with little or less hype than some or most, I am guilty of not keeping good books and I've toyed with systems left and right, but thats what makes us better and us being people, willing to change for the better.
Looking through some old files today and ran across some envelopes that were sent by clients back in 98' or 99' and some had letter enclosed stating "here's the $125.00 for 1 month of service" ect...
Well in todays time with everyone and their brother in this business it gave me a whole different vision as to what I wanted to do and I am at peace for the first time since 1989 when I ran my service over the phones with no internet. Because now I see the whole pitcure, I now know a winning pick is more important than a new client, because winning picks is what keeps the clients you got.
Im 33 years old last worked full time when I was 18yrs old I found I had a few skills dealing with point spreads- back then my special was NFL - now I prefer MLB. It comes and goes, no matter what you know sometimes its not enough and just because I do this for a living does not make me perfect, I just seem to make it month after month and live my life like I choose to.
Any way enough on me, just sharing a few things to let you know I'm human and just because I feel the need to charge for my work does not make me a bad guy.
I have a post at the sports service link and has all of my Sunday card in it, take a look and GL today and always.
