Plays for Thursday, May 20th
12:30 Eastern Update
2*Oakland/Hudson -1.5 runs -110 over Detroit/Knotts ($220 to win $200)
Knotts has only made 1 start so far this season which was at home and last season Detroit was 4-5 in Knotts 9 road starts as the opposition scored 9 or more total runs in 5 of those 9 road starts. Over the last 1+ seasons Oakland is 19-4 home behind Hudson as the opposition has scored 4 or less total runs in 18 of those 23 starts and 3 or less total runs in 16 of those 23 starts. Over the last 4+ seasons Oakland is 57-16 in Hudson's 73 home starts.
6:00 Eastern Update
2*Florida/Beckett +110 over Houston/Oswalt ($200 to win $220)
Perception is one thing, but the reality is Houston is 0-5 in Oswalt's last 5 starts and 2-6 in his 8 starts this season. Play Florida as a slight home underdog looking to avoid the 0-3 series home sweep. The Marlins are 13-6 in Beckett's last 19 home starts as the opposition has scored 4 or less total runs in 13 of those 19 home starts.
2*Texas/Rogers -1.5 runs +135 over Kansas City/May ($200 to win $270)
Hard to envision the Royals sweeping this series who are 5-14 road, 13-24 overall and more importantly are 1-3 road behind May and 2-5 in his 7 starts overall this season. Over the last 1+ seasons Kansas City is 6-14 in May's 20 road starts as the opposition has scored 5 or more total runs in 13 of those 20 road starts. Texas is 3-1 at home behind Rogers so far this season, 5-3 overall in his 8 starts and over the last 1+ seasons Texas/Minnesota is 14-7 in Rogers 21 home starts.
2*Seattle/Moyer -1.5 runs +170 over Baltimore/Lopez ($200 to win $340)
Basically fading Baltimore on the road looking to sweep this series behind Lopez making his 1st start so far this season. The Orioles were 3-7 in Lopez's 10 road starts last season. Over the last 3+ seasons Seattle is 38-17 at home behind Moyer.
8:05 Eastern
Detroit over New Jersey
Home teams for the most part have dominated the playoffs so far this season going 46-18 and the home team has dominated the 7th game of a 7 game NBA playoff series going 23-4 the last 27 and 72-15 the last 87.

MONTE, I REALLY THINK YOU NEED TO GET INVOLVED HERE BUDDY!!!!
You know, Boxer, you know I backed you up in the past and I have just been sitting back taking all this in but enough is enough....I would never go against anyone on this board especially my buddy Kmann...That is why i just sat back...but Boxer, you have not helped yourself at all here with these guys....That is why they think you and slickrick are the same because you both have the same explosive personallities....I was one of your backers because I have a buddy that had your service and he told me you treated your clients very good....But I am tired of listening to you also...You really need cool down....Good Luck to you...

hardball tech
anyone get them yet? spec. K would be nice as well. It may be on the board but can't find it sifting through all this BS! why can't the administrator find some cajones and do something about this?!
LOS ANGELES (Ishii) +120 over PHILDELPHIA (Myers)
The Phillies have averaged close to one less run per game
vs. lefthanded starters a opposed to righthanders, and they
have only beaten one southpaw at home in 4 attempts (-$240).
Kazuhisa Ishii has been outstanding for the first place Dodgers
(+$315, 3.83 ERA) and is a bargain as an underdog vs. the
unimposing Brett Myers (5.40 ERA). The Dodgers have a 7-3
record on the road vs. righthanders (+$545) with 5.2 runs per
game in those contests, so we like the western division front-
runners to salvage a victory in the final game of this 3 game set.
UNDER the TOTAL (166)
New Jersey at Detroit*
The Nets have proven to be premium choke artists
with no go-to player at crunch time. This entire
game is crunch time, so we can expect them all
to be brick-layers.
Kenyon Martin was 2-for-21 when they got closed
out by San Antonio last year. Jason Kidd is shooting
31% for the series and only 41% for his career.
They all miss free throws at critical times, Pistons
included.
Detroit picks up Kidd full-court and wears him down.
He has fear in his eyes. Neither side has a killer
instinct for hitting big baskets. DETROIT, 79-74.
