CHICAGO W. SOX (Schoeneweis) +105 over CLEVELAND (J. Davis)
With a 3-9 (-$620) record against lefthanders, we're not sure
why the Indians are a favorte against Scott Schoeneweis, who
has looked very sharp in 2004 after returning as a starter (3.18
ERA in 7 starts). The White Sox have scored a nice profit against
righthanders so far (+$390) and have a huge edge against Jason
Davis (5.44 ERA) who has only led the Indians to victory twice in
eight starts so far (-$410). The White Sox are better team and
the Indians don't have the horses to stay anywhere near the .500
level as the season wears on.
UNDER the TOTAL (189)
Sacramento at Minnesota*
The deeper you get into a series, the more each
possession is valued, and it doesn't get much
deeper than Game 7.
Throughout the playoffs, each side is averaging
an UNDER. Sacramento by an NBA-high -10.23 points,
Minnesota by -3.41 points.
Kings are easier to defend with Webber's mobility
limited and anything short of murder will go
uncalled in a situation like this. Missing Peeler's
outside shot also makes Sacramento easier to defend
against. MINNESOTA, 93-86.
