History shows that the Game 5 winner of a series tied 2-2, has won the series in 96 of 115 opportunities. Yesterday the Lakers finished off the Spurs and I fully expect New Jersey to take care of business here as Kidd and Martin will lead the way to a 8 point win.

FLORIDA (Penny) +110 over ST. LOUIS (W.Williams)

Since coming up with two crucial wins in the World Series
last October, Brad Penny has emerged as one of the top
righthanders in the National League (2.25 ERA in his first
7 starts). That's a problem for a Cardinals team that has
struggled at Busch Stadium, particularly in day games vs.
righthanders (only 2-5, -$605 with 3.7 runs per game). The
Marlins have done well against righthanders overall (+$380),
including a 10-7 record on the road. Woody Williams is coming
off a good start, but his numbers in 2004 are way below what
they should be (-$310, 5.27 ERA) so we'll gladly take the under-
dog price on the defending world champions.
