I hate when that happens. Laid the wood on the Cubs today. Zambrano better pitch his butt off again today. Doesn't look good for run support with those guys out of the lineup.

In a day game following a night game this is very commen practice. These poor baseball players have to be soo tired

The problem is, someone else may be getting to see the light of the playing field and could step up for their appearance.

Offense was not a problem today.

I understand baseball very well. I understand the day game following the night game as it refers to lineups. Usually it's the catcher that gets the day off and anyone nursing a nagging injury.... not three regulars out of your lineup. Otherwise, the Dodgers would have had three of their regulars besides their catcher out of the lineup. Hell, I couldn't believe Beltre was playing today. If I had known the lineup changes for the Cubs before I placed my bet I wouldn't have pounded them. I still would have played them based on Zambrano pitching, only a normal unit though. Oh well, a wins a win.
