  • FIRST REPORT 5/12 KMANN - Frank B - COVERBOY

    First Report for Wednesday 5/12
    Kmann - Frankie B – Coverboy …MLB 2004.

The first report is always incomplete . Check back later on today for our first update.

Note : All results will be based on wagers of $100 per game. In time we may recommend varying our wagers to play into our real strengths in order to max profits.

    1) Our Dogs :

Into today Our Dogs are now at 42 – 39 +940 …. If we take away all dogs greater than +150 our record climbs to 41 – 34 + 1,280 ………

    Tuesday Dogs were : Anaheim + 170 ( loss ) and Baltimore +130 ( loss )

    Wednesday’s Dogs :
    Minnesota +110
    Philadelphia + 120
    Pittsburgh +110
Toronto ( opened at even … but moved to –110 … it's still a play for us )

Note : Anaheim must be mentioned at +150 but Frank has told me that Our Dogs of +155 or more are 1-5 . We are passing on Anaheim . For different reasons , KMANN may have a play on Anaheim later on .

    --------------------------------------------------

    2) Kmann’s Plays - Kmann places each game under a microscope and selects any team with a definite advantage and grades them accordingly.

    Record into Today:

    3 ½ * 0-1 ( -150 )

    3* 9-5 +335

    2 1/2 * 6-0 + 650

    2* and 1* ‘s 39 – 28 +1169

    Parlays : 0-1 -100

    ALL KMANN PLAYS COMBINED : 54 – 35 +1,904

High Line plays when indicated will not count on the record unless they are recommended as plays by Kmann. He generally does not play faves of more than –160 or -165 tops . Being a notorious dog player I generally won't lay more than –135 . Parlay suggestions will count for the record.

    DAILY OVERNIGHT INJURIES

    MLB

    GAME #913-914

LOS ANGELES - 3B ARDIAN BELTRE (ANKLE) IS "?". THE PRESS TELEGRAM REPORTS - BELTRE LEFT
THE GAME AFTER SEVEN INNINGS WHEN HIS CHRONICALLY SORE RIGHT ANKLE FLARED
UP AGAIN. "IT GOT TO THE POINT WHERE HE COULDN'T CONTINUE," DODGERS
MANAGER JIM TRACY SAID. BELTRE SAID HE EXPECTS TO BE IN THE LINEUP TONIGHT.

    GAME #915-916

PHILADELPHIA - 1B JIM THOME (THUMB) UPGRADED FROM "?" TO PROBABLE. THE PHILLIES WEBSITE
REPORTS - JIM THOME WAS LIFTED FROM THE GAME AFTER HE TWEAKED HIS LEFT
THUMB FIELDING A GROUNDER FROM PITCHER TYLER WALKER TO END THE FIFTH
INNING. BOWA SAID THE MEASURE WAS A PRECAUTION AND HE EXPECTS THOME TO
    PLAY ON WEDNESDAY.

    GAME #923-924

DETROIT - C IVAN RODRIGUEZ (LEG) LEFT TUESDAY'S GAME, "?". THE FREE PRESS REPORTS -
TIGERS CATCHER IVAN RODRIGUEZ LEFT FOR PINCH-HITTER ERIC MUNSON IN THE 15TH
BECAUSE OF A CRAMP IN HIS UPPER LEFT HAMSTRING. RODRIGUEZ AND MANAGER ALAN
TRAMMELL DESCRIBED THE INJURY AS NOT SERIOUS. RODRIGUEZ SAID HE HAD FELT THE
CRAMP BEFORE HE STRETCHED IN THE TOP OF THE 15TH TO TAG OUT DYE AS HE TRIED TO
SCORE ON MILLER'S SINGLE. THAT MADE THE PROBLEM WORSE. "IT WILL BE OK," SAID
RODRIGUEZ, WHO APPEARED TO HAVE NO TROUBLE WALKING IN THE CLUBHOUSE AFTER
    THE GAME.

    GAME #927-928

BALTIMORE - SS MIGUEL TEJEDA (SHIN) UPGRADED FROM "?" TO PROBABLE. THE BALTIMORE SUN
REPORTS - TEJEDA LEFT THE GAME WITH MUSCLE CRAMPS IN THE FRONT OF HIS RIGHT
SHIN, AN INJURY THAT THREATENS HIS STREAK OF 623 CONSECUTIVE GAMES PLAYED-
THE LONGEST ACTIVE STREAK IN THE MAJORS. BUT TEJEDA LATER SAID THE PAIN HAD
MOSTLY SUBSIDED IN THE TRAINER'S ROOM. "I'M GOING TO PLAY TONIGHT,"
TEJEDA SAID. "I CAN WALK. I DON'T FEEL ANY PAIN."

Notes : Our View on Run Lines

KMann : "I personally do not take Home Favorites on the Run Line ... Only Home Dogs and ROAD teams.... Home favorites may not have that last at bat ( this occurs in 11% of the games ) and if a Home Fave is ahead by one with most of the time laying 1 ½ or more without the last at bat this is not advantageous."

Frank B - Our esteemed colleague and chief consultant is in the process of gathering all information relating to Run Line wagers within our system. So far results not encouraging .

So we here at the project take a cautious view at best of run line wagers in general ..... Kmann will not play them at all for home faves .... Frank currently sees them statistically as a losing proposition .... And I won't play them simply because to me they're nothing more than teaser wagers and I refuse to play on anything that I can’t beat.

Good luck to us ... ~ Coverboy ~

    Hi Cover

Have you posted Dunkels power rating numbers for each game as of yet? I must have overlooked it somewhere.
