  • Over/Under experiment

I am going to do a little experiment, I was thinking what is the W/L ratio of Over/Unders when then O/U is favored by at least 20 then the other.

    Example:

    A/B
    Over 9 -130
    Under 9 -105

I would pick the over cause it's more then 20.

I will try it out and see if we get anywhere,

    Pick is in BOLD

    Astros/Marlins
    Over 7.5 -135
    Under 7.5 +115

    Braves/Cardinals
    Over 9 -150
    Under 9 +130

    Reds/Padres
    Over 8.5 +105
    Under 8.5 -125

    Cubs/ Dodgers
    Over 7 +105
    Under 7 -125

    Phillies/Giants
    Over 8.5 +110
    Under 8.5 -130

    Indians/Red Sox
    Over 8 even
    Under 8 -120

    Athletics/Tigers
    Over 8.5 -150
    Under 8.5 +130

    Rangers/Devil Rays
    Over 9 +110
    Under 9 -130

    Mariners/Twins
    Over 9 -130
    Under 9 +110

    Blue Jays/Royals
    Over 9 -125
    Under 9 +105

    Cubs

Cubs - Right off the bat you're on the right track. I've found that in MLB totals the total that is the fave produces many more winners than losers . Good luck ... I'll follow your posts.

Nice theory. Another one to look at is the low and the high end. Meaning, mark all cames at 7.5 and lower and all games 10.5 and higher for a week and see what happens. Usually the under 7.5 will go under and the high end will go over.
