  • Play the Heat

Take the points! I look for a straight up win for a dog getting 3 1/2 or even 4 points.

Miami played very hard in both losses to Indiana even if the score doesn't indicate it. They were consistently beating the Pacers upand down the court but had no answer for Indiana's more physical play. Coming home tonight, Miami will have even more energy while the Pacers are in a classic letdown situation.

Note that both teams coming home yesterday with 2-0 deficits---New Jersey and Los Angeles---both won easily.

Miami was MUCH better at home this season. They are an incredible 33-12 (playoffs included) at home but an awful 13-33 on the road. That might be the biggest home/road disparity in the league. Look for a big effort out of the Heat to get the win and at the very least a cover.

I am not saying I am going to play Indiana, but people used the same logic with Memphis, which got swept by San Antonio, and in that case ,Memphis actually took the season series against the Spurs.
I believe in this case the Pacers have won all the games from Miami including the regular season ones;on the other hand, thats why they call it gambling.

like the Heat myself (no $$ though)

got this from a service writeup...

The Heat are 29-16 ATS at home this season but they’re only 6-7 ATS as a home underdog, including a 22 point loss in the Pacers only visit to Miami.

          Mejias Nba picks
          Last night: 1-1 | Last week: 6-4 | Playoff record: 39-10 | Season record: 810-427 (65.5 %)

Sacramento Kings 96 Minnesota Timberwolves 93
Miami Heat 88 Indiana Pacers 84
Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
