  • Monday Baseball...........

Squeeked out a half a unit of profit yesterday going 2-2. Only three games on the schedule for today, so I'm going to take a shot with a big dog.........

1 STAR: Cleveland (+$190) OVER BOSTON
    (Jeff D'Amico vs. Byung-Hyun Kim)

Kim has been inconsistent so far this season and at this price I will take a small shot with an Indians team that has been swinging the bats pretty well so far this season.

    2004 MLB RECORD

    5 STAR RECORD 4-5 (-9.60 UNITS)
    3 STAR RECORD 18-12 (+19.21 UNITS)
    2 STAR RECORD 36-37 (-1.08 UNITS)
    1 STAR RECORD 32-26 (+12.83 UNITS)

    OVERALL RECORD 90-81 (+21.36 UNITS)
    A $100 player would be up $2136.00

    Good luck,
    John

    John-you are being very diplomatic.
As a huge Red Sox fan I would say Kim stinks, and the only question is whether he is good enough to be a fifth starter not for the Sox but for Pawtucket.
If it weren't for the fact that Baltimore and Cleveland may have tired out their bats over the weekend, I would be tempted to take over the total tonight.
ps People blast me when on Sox forum I knock Kim as a closer, etc. In spite of his inability to pitch to Yankees and under real pressure situations against teams, people point to his era last year, etc.;sometimes that doesn't show the whole picture.
I usually don't bet on or against Sox, but I think your bet is a good one.
    Good luck

Good call on Cleveland. I played the over;boy was that easy.
I have been arguing on Sox forum tonight what a piece of ineffective garbage Kim is, and yet there are those who think he is good.(in my mind he is good , yah, good for nothing).
