Very slim picking on today's short card, so we'll give a
lean to the Blue Jays (6-3, +$280 last 10 days) to stay hot
and get the best of a KC team that has been horrible vs.
righthanders (only 5-18, -$1285). The Royals continue to
be ice cold (2-7, -$380 with a 6.6 ERA among starters) and
Brian Anderson's numbers (7.14 ERA) are not encouraging.
Pat Hentgen has struggled, so we'll go very light on this one
and hold our ammunition for tomorrow and for later in the week.

Doug Christie is playing through the foot
injury known as plantar fasciitis and it
probably won't get any better. Chris Webber
can't jump very well because he can't push
off his injured leg.

These problems limit their mobility and
alter their shots, shot-selection and ability
to play defense, so when their team is laying
