Dunkel Project - Friday Newsletter and Game Worksheet
Our friend Frank B had an idea which is to incorporate all the plays given us each day by “The Dunkel Index “ , and two fine handicappers here on BC …. MMM and John ( EZ Winners ). Kmann is our resident expert who interprets all Dunkel information. I call him the Dr. of Dunkelnomics ( it’s corny but he likes it ) We’re trying to learn which combinations of our handicappers’ plays yield the best results. This project is still very much in its initial stages so for now it’s kind of long winded. In time I’ll streamline the report ( I promise ) but for now I want to give out as much information as possible so we all can see together just where it’s strengths and weaknesses lie.
The “Dunkel Index” usually comes in first . I post it as soon as I get it … usually around 11:00 AM. I isolate any teams which have a higher Dunkel rating than their opponent AND are an underdog to the Vegas line.( I subscribe to Don Best so I have lines from at least 15 major casinos) These I call “ Dunkel Dogs “ . Then we build from there with incoming posts from Frank , Kmann , MMM and John.
UPDATE FRIDAY 5/7 1:45 PM
As our handicappers post during the day I add to the report ( Retirement is a blast !!! ) so please check in periodically for updates . Once all the info is in for any given day I’ll post a final report as soon as possible Since these plays are common to our handicappers there are never any conflicting sides .
Sooner or later all of us are going to ask the question : “ Regarding Dunkel Dogs …. what happens when a team is a dog in the morning then becomes a favorive later on ? or vice versa …. A favorite which becomes a dog ? “ Well in that case we need to use our judgment and see just how strong our team is rated over it’s opponent by Dunkel …. And develop a feel with time . ENTER KMANN TO THE RESCUE . IF there are any emergencies I’ll post updates using the heading “ DUNKEL CHANGES “ with the date next to it. KMANN is extremely meticulous and will send me out an SOS.
Any and all constructive suggestions and observations sure are welcome . I Hope we can all benefit from this. Good luck to us. - Neil

Notes:
Into Thursday Dunkel Dogs had 7 straight winners
Thursday Dunkel Dogs were San Diego +110 WON and Minnesota +140 L
For Friday and in general ---- Use your judgment with these high lines . ( I generally won't lay more than 130 or 135 tops My cup of tea is playing small to medium dogs ... but hey ... that's me )
Two Apologies are in order :
1) I misread yesterday’s index and posted San Diego +110 as a Dunkel Dog when in fact they were rated “ Even “ by Dunkel . S.D. did not qualify as a Dunkel Dog . I was relieved when they won. . I’d be feeling real badly if they lost. At any rate our winning streak was snapped last night as the Twins lost to the Mariners 2-1 .
2 ) To the BC Administrators - I know this project consumes lots of room and if this is an inconvenience I apologize . There’s a bunch of info we need to get out to everyone and I want to make it Reader Friendly for those whose eyesight is similar to mine .
Good luck to us -Neil
