HAVE TO GO TO New Jersey and from the looks of these two teams the first one to hit 40 points in any game should win it so your pick is still just fine! I had some weird baseball picks today with the STL/CHC (O) on a 5* and got lucky with Sammy hitting a late one. Other than that just two a 2*on the CWS boys and missed the (o) on it as Frank Thomas duffs a 3-0 bases loaded pitch into the ground for a DP. They go on to get 2 more anyway! Took the Reds on 1* and a parlay with the Pistons m/l AND the Angels who gave up a two run jack in the first....so watch the Tigers go ballistic tonight and torch that one too! BOL To you and especially your Nets Pick! Gv

Tonight was a good case if their ever was for us under players! too bad the dog didn't come through for a red letter night Haven't been playing much lately as I am moving in two weeks so probably will lay pretty low until football season. Pat Tillman died for us
Pat Tillman's act is the most selfless of anyone in this country. To sacrifice fame and a one time shot at millions is more than any of us have ever done. That said, it is sad that someone would use this thread for a political diatribe particularly when he is so ignorant that he doesn't even know Pat died in Afghanistan not Iraq.

And I thought the overall response to the thread you started about him was sympathetic and patriotic! NOBODY had a problem with your post!! After all, most of us that use this forum are ourselves Americans and we can empathize with all the men and women that have served our country (especially in wartime). Both the living and fallen soldiers should never be forgotten for the sacrafices they have made to preserve our freedom!

The "political diatribes" that Griswold was referring to was in a post by FrankB03. Personally, I think what Frank said was OK and by no means did I think he was out of line. However, for some reason Griswold did not agree and accused Frank's post (in your thread about Pat Tillman) of containing "political diatribes". Frank was only reacting with his heart about the fact that many Americans (and others) are dying in Iraq and Griswold should have realized that and left it alone!.........yes Griswold, we know that Pat Tillman died in Afghanistan, not Iraq!

BOTTOM LINE: Don't let this "POLITICAL DIATRIBE" thing stop you from posting because it's not worth quitting for! I would hate for this to be your only reason for not posting because you are really missed here! If there are other things going on, OK! But please don't quit just because of this!

Scott. I'm up in the Bay Area. I watched the Made for TV Earthquake movie tonight and was just wondering which part of Southern Calif you are moving to. The part closest to Vegas with the beachfront property or the island of Los Angeles.

I also miss GV's plays. It's special when you find a genually nice guy whose picks are right so much more than they are wrong. It's been hard lately, seeing his picks after the games have started, especially since I am trying to turn things around after two very bad weeks. Hope your move goes well.

I actualy live in sothern cal now right near the beach near los angeles. Im moving to reno nevada. I watched a little of that earthquate movie looked pretty good I'm sorry I missed part 1. I hope to be going to san fran often to see those 49er games!

I know people who have moved from the Bay Area to Reno and they all wish they had done it sooner, except they sold their homes for a lot more by waiting. I grew up a 49ers fan, but I can't root for them nowbecause York dosen't deserve to win. I want him to by unhappy, not happy.

With all the money NBC spent making the quake movie, they will be showing it again. The individual story lines were lame, but the special effects were great and were much better in Part 1.
