And now to Monday's comp play as we take to the ice for a rare NHL selection:

Take the Calgary Flames to finish up the big bad mighty Red Wings. Certainly the Wings are the better team as evidenced by their $450 series favorite price, but this team is not playing with the heart or the passion of the Flames.

The NHL is a game of parity, upsets do occur unlike the NBA. You will pretty much never see an 8th seed beat a No. 1 seed on the hardwoods but on the ice this is different as one misplay or bounce of the puck can mean a win or a loss. And this surprising series win is among us as the gutty Flames will end it tonight.

Jarome Iginla and the boys have shown a ton of heart beating the Wings twice in Detroit. This team is playing with more determination and will beat the Steve Yzerman-less Wings tonight and go to the Western Conference finals. Last season was Anaheim, this season will be the Flames. They are legit and just want it more. At home Calgary gets it done!
