    Lakers?

Still don't understand everyone's fascination with the Lakers. No way Lakers beat Spurs in a series without Savid Stern's (and referee's) help. Spurs best team in NBA BY FAR.

    Spurs -4.5

Spiccoli-I agree and hope you are right, as I have SA to win NBA championship at 4 1/2-1 odds(is much lower now).
I can't believe LA was originally 1-1.25 odds and Spurs 1-4.5.
Win or lose, those odds were way out of whack.

It is only one game, and not to be repetitive, but how the heck could any linesmaker initially have made the Lakers the odds on choice to win the championship at +1.25 when there are at least 5 or 6 teams or maybe even more every bit as good if not better? It defies complete logic.

The lakers lost today but watch out for them and what they may do, and if the Spurs move on I have to wonder if they will move on with no injuries! The Lakers are more than a team and Jackson is more than a coach.

Have you ever wondered how or why a team won on the last second of the game, or how Kobe puts in the three more than once to win. Some things can not be explained in this world and that is what I write about, so a word to the wise watch out for these LAKERS because they do things you can not explain!!!

I personally think Lakers are a team on a decline, and I will be very much surprised if they come back and win this series.
It won't be the biggest upset in history if they do come back, but I think Spurs are better, younger, more disciplined and have proven they can beat the Lakers(last year in playoffs).
Personally before playoffs started I think Spurs should have been favored to win championship at around 2-1 or so ,and Lakers rather than being odds on favored to win, should have been with about 4 or 5 other teams at around 3 or 4-1.
I am not impressed with them at all and have not been the entire season.

I wanted to post some information for you as we move forward in tha NBA Playoffs. Which team has played its starting 5 the most minutes out of any NBA team? I will tell you that it is the Kings and they should be the favorite to reach the finals. I think the Lakers and Kings will meet to decide that and game 3 in the Spurs/Lakers series will be huge!
