Might as well post in this thread.

I think Miami scores at least 90 in this one. They haven't played well in the last three and were lucky to win the last game. They didn't shoot well from the line but did only attempt 14 from beyond the arch in the victory. Hopefully these players, that aren't too smart, don't start launching like crazy in this one and use their better athleticism over NO. I think NO needs more things to go their way to win in these games and Miami to hurt themselves. I think the Heat put it all together here.

Heavy Lean Miami and Over

I think the 1st game of the Lakers series may be a bit of culture shock for SA. The Spurs coming off an easier series as the dominating force now, the Lakers coming of a real test in Houston as the hunter now. You know that dope Payton is hearing all the shit about his play and about how he was picked up for his D which hasn't shown up. Parker has had problems in the past in the lime light and I think Payton may show up with a bit of rest for his back. Normally, in seasons past, the Lakers would take off the 1st game here after the last tough series. I see them bringing it. The Laker team as a whole looked very bad in winning against a Houston team that just ain't there yet. Neither team shoots FT's well so that won't be a big downfall just for the Lakers.

Heavy/lean=how about a real fat lady who goes on Atkins Diet and who becomes real thin? Or perhaps a real fat lady who goes on the diet and who isn't real thin yet but getting there and thus describes herself as a "heavy"lean.

"Leans" are just my attempt at showing how much I like a play.

A heavy lean means I really like it but haven't put money down yet, and may not.

The post was a day in advance so I wasn't sure what I was actually going to put a number on.

I ended up playing all four guesses Got lucky to hit one. should have just bet with my heart as I wanted. Against the Cubs and with the Sox.

I want to thank the Lakers for forgetting there are four quarters in a game, not three. If they would have showed up in the 4th I might have hit both plays on the game. Spurs go 9/21 from the line and the Lakers still don't cover shooting under 38% for the game. Puke Payton going 1/8, Shag 3/13 from the line.

I'm no coach, but Jackson doesn't use three players at all and says his team was exhausted, after the game.:confused:

Did you ever think that maybe the Lakers just aren't that good anymore ,and are and have been vastly overrated the entire season by linesmakers, especially when they were installed as odds on favorite to win the championship at 1-1.25 before playoffs began?

I thought they would bring a better game in the 1st matchup in the series. SA came off an easy series were they weren't really tested. Lakers being shit on by everyone now. Figured they had more heart. Obviously a miscue on my part. They were up three going into the fourth and my plan was coming together. If they could have sqeezed out a modest 21 or 22 points in the 4th I would have been in a no lose situation. I think Jackson should have used one or two of the three guys he sat for the game. Might have given his guys a breather for a late run. Seeing as how they only scored 13 I can only think Fox may have been able to do something. Despite losing I think I wasn't too far off on this game. SA, like Detroit, will score enough to win and will sit if you don't score on them. LA didn't score so SA sat through the 1st half.

I go game to game and don't look at what the pre-season thoughts were on these teams. I do look a bit at what I think an overall series will look like. Here I was just looking at game one.
