  • Thursday Baseball......

The same truck that hit Memphis on Tuesday, did a hit and run on me last night for a 1-4 (-6.88 units) night, including the nine run blown lead by the Reds! :angryfire Lets get back on track today, these are my plays..........

5 STAR: NEW YORK (-$155) OVER Oakland
    (Kevin Brown vs. Barry Zito)

3 STAR: Florida (+$105) OVER SAN FRANCISCO
    (Brad Penny vs. Jerome Williams)

1 STAR: Tampa Bay (+$138) OVER BOSTON
    (Victor Zambrano vs. Byung-Hyun Kim)

    2004 MLB RECORD

    5 STAR RECORD 3-4 (-8.10 UNITS)
    3 STAR RECORD 15-9 (+16.30 UNITS)
    2 STAR RECORD 19-21 (+2.60 UNITS)
    1 STAR RECORD 25-18 (+13.36 UNITS)

    OVERALL RECORD 62-52 (+24.16 UNITS)
    A $100 player would be up $2416.00

    John

John, we lost a big game yesterday also with Cleveland blowing a huge late lead, not as bad as that brewer game!!!
these breaks should now turn on our side, thats what always happens

the bottom line is that your up units on your bottom line!!!

BOTTOM LINE COUNTS IN THIS BUSINESS!!!

            Yankees- 3; A's- 3.....bottom of the 6th

I'm a $200 bettor under EZ's system and I have played EZ's picks religiously since the start of the season.........so at (-170) you can figure out what I risked in this game. (THIS IS A 5 STAR PLAY)

I figured this wouldn't be easy if for no other reason than the fact that I bet the game......(lol)

Please, Yankees: complete the sweep of this A's team that desperately wants (and needs) a win!
            -----------------------------------------------------

UPDATE: All right! The gambling gods must be listening 'cause the Yankees scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th as I was writing this post! They now lead 6-3 over the A's. Still three innings left and as we all know, no lead is ever safe anymore as the Reds loss last night will prove that. COME ON YANKEES!

            Sincerely,
            Bennojd

                  Thanks John (EZ):

Nice (2-1) night..........we got back last night's losses!
You are Mr. Consistent, my friend!

Man, the Yankees almost used too many pitchers there at the end........ What else is new in MLB?
But Mariano Rivera did a great job as closer and held on at the end to get the save!
Paul Quantrill also did a great job in middle relief after Kevin Brown got into trouble in the top of the 7th. I thought the Yankees would leave Quantrill in to start the top of the 8th but NO!
Anyway, a win is a win and that's all that matters!!
