Question about Mets/Dodgers

I am trying to learn to study stats in Baseball. My question is on The Mets against the Dodgers.The Mets have Glavine on the mound and theses are his stats that I found.Car vs La are Era-3.68, Whip-1.39, BAA-272. Away this year ERA-1.38, Whip-.92, BAA-200 Total stats for year ERA-1.00, WHIP-.78, BAA 163.

For The Dodgers is H.Nomo Car vs Mets ERA-3.15, WHIP-1.10, BAA 209. Home this year ERA 7.36, Whip-1.45, BAA 256. Total for year ERA-6.55, WHIP-1.59, BAA- 302.

Can someone explain to me how on the moneyline the Mets are +121 LA -136? Am I missing something here? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

First place team at home against a sub .500 team with the second worst batting average in the big leagues. I would say that is why LA is that much of a favorite. But I do like the Mets tonight!

i like the mets too...
