      John (EZ):

      GOOD LUCK ON TUESDAY!
      ----------------------------------------------

      Bring out the broom!
      Nice (3-0) sweep on Monday!

That San Diego Padres (5 star play) victory was certainly not an easy one but of course we'll take it. I checked out a LITTLE of the game between the Padres and Expos on ESPN 2 and it reminded me why I don't watch MLB baseball very often........a ceiling fan in motion is just about as exciting!
What a brutal display of offense by both teams; or some might say it was good pitching. I tend to think it was the first scenario.

Anyway, a win is a win is a win despite how ugly it may have been!

As always, thanks for the plays!

      Sincerely,
      Bennojd

p.s.> Please keep in mind that the above stated thoughts are MY OPINIONS. Obviously, some of you will disagree with my opinions and that is fine; that's the way it should be!

Good luck on your dogs tonight John. Looks as though you are getting a feel for these teams. Units starting to pile up.Hard to believe we are only nineteen or so games in. Alot of ball to be played yet.
                    Thanks for the hard work.

                      Yankees/ A's:

A's are up 8-4 going into the bottom of the 8th; of course the A's manager just has to take Hudson (A's starter) out because he pitched a full seven innings.

I've mentioned this before.........if a guy is going good: why do you need to take him out just because he pitched a certain amount of innings or threw a certain amount of pitches??.......that never used to happen in the old days but welcome to the current state of MLB!

Turns out that the Yankees scored six runs in the bottom of the 8th and are winning 10-8. But the A's have one last chance in the top of the ninth; forget it.......this game is lost!

                      :angryfire

Years ago Hudson would have came in to pitch the 8th inning. If he allowed a base runner the manager would make a change. Fair enough! They rely too heavily on middle relief. I don't get it.

Another reason why baseball is a horrible sport.
