Tim Huson has been near perfect in four starts this season
(+$415, 2.15 ERA), making himself the early frontrunner for
Cy Young honors. How can we pass up an opportunity to
use him as an underdog against the bumbling Yankees
(only 5-9, -$1035 vs. rightthanders so far)? NY's team BA
is dead last in the AL (an almost unbelievable .217), and
they were a disaster for their backers vs. righties in the
Bronx last year(-$1570) in the middle of a 100 win season.
Mussina is off to the worst start of his career (-$610, 6.67
ERA) , while the A's are a nifty 5-2 (+$315) on the road vs.
righthanders. With a rugged stretch of games against tough
AL West competition, the Yankees are in jeopardy of getting
knocked way back in their bid for a 10th straight playoff berth.
