Florida at Rockies; Pavano is 8-2 his L10 starts. He is 3-0 this season and 7-3 under his last 10. Elarton is 0-3 this season and has an ERA of 11.15. Pavano is 2-2 lifetime with a 4.26 ERA in 38 innings, allowing 49 hits and 18 earned runs.

Cubs at Arizona; The Cubs are hitting .193 vs lefties this season. Johnson has won his last 9 starts against the Cubs. The Cubs are 3-0 in Zambrano's starts this season. Four of Johnson's last 5 wins have gone under. Zambrano's 2 starts vs Arizona have gone under. Johnson has thrown at least 111 pitches in each of his 4 starts this year, but Arizona has won just 1 of those starts.

Montreal at Padres; Expos are hitting .206 vs righties this season. The under is 8-2 in Hernandez's L10 starts. He's only won 1 of his L5. Hernandez is 8-1 lifetime vs the Padres with a 3.12 ERA. Atlanta at Giants; The Giants are hitting .214 vs lefties this season. Schmidt has a 6.55 ERA in 2 starts, throwing 11 innings, allowing 10 hits and 8 earned runs. He definitely is not at the top of his game right now! Schmidt has lost 3 of his L4 starts vs Atlanta, although he's 8-2 in his L10 starts overall. Ramirez is 6-3 in his L9 starts. In 2 career starts vs the Giants he's 0-0 with a 3.29 ERA in 13.2 innings, allowing 12 hits and 5 earned runs. The Braves played a late game in Florida last night and 24 hours later are playing on the west coast. Bonds is 0-2 vs Ramirez and Alfonzo at 2 for 5 is hitting .400, and Durham at 1 for 3 is the only other hitter batting over .300 against him. Andruw Jones is 1 for 22 lifetime vs Schmidt(ouch), but Chipper is 14 for 31 with 4 HR's and a .452 average. Does anyone know if he's playing tonight or not?

Thanks for all the data there big guy!

Here's the answer to your Chipper Jones question...

Cox is hoping that Jones, who has been out since aggravating a right hamstring injury on April 18, will be able to make a pinch-hit appearance during the Giants series and return to the lineup during next weekend's series in Colorado.
