  • Monday Baseball............

Went 3-2 on the diamond yesterday but managed to lose 2.53 units as the Astros did me in again. That will be the last time I play on or again Houston the rest of the season, you can carve that in stone! These are my plays for Monday........

5 STAR: SAN DIEGO (-$165) OVER Montreal
    (Jake Peavy vs. Livian Hernendez)

1 STAR: ARIZONA (-$125) OVER Chicago
    (Randy Johnson vs. Carlos Zambrano)

1 STAR: SAN FRANCISCO (-$155) OVER Atlanta
    (Jason Schmidt vs. Horacio Ramirez)

    *ALL LISTED PITCHERS MUST START*

    2004 MLB RECORD

    5 STAR RECORD 2-4 (-13.10 UNITS)
    3 STAR RECORD 12-7 (+16.30 UNITS)
    2 STAR RECORD 18-17 (+4.32 UNITS)
    1 STAR RECORD 23-18 (+11.36 UNITS)

    OVERALL RECORD 55-46 (+18.88 UNITS)
    A $100 player would be up $1888.00

    Good luck,
    John

    John (EZ):

    Good luck today!
Let's win all three games tonight but especially the 5 star play!

I didn't play the Houston Rockets yesterday but I know that you did. I was watching that game and it looked like the Rockets had it won as they were up by 4 points or so in OT. I left the room and when I returned the Lakers were winning.
What ashame that you lost that game as there is no way the Lakers should have won! The Rockets must have self destructed in order to lose that game!

    DAMN HOUSTON TEAMS!! :angryfire :angryfire

    Take care,
    Bennojd

Yes, they did fall apart. I should have learned by now not to bet on Houston teams!

John. You must be reading my mind. I like all three of those games myself.

Hope you sweep the board and I didn't bring you bad luck

Good luck today, John. BTW, the Ass-tros are off today so you won't be tempted to bet them today.
NSA's NBA Game Of The Year was on Dallas -4.5 on March 31. Orlando won 108-99. It was a cloudy day for Sonny LaFouchi.

                Bring out the broom!
                Nice (3-0) sweep on Monday!

That San Diego Padres (5 star play) victory was certainly not an easy one but we'll take it. I watched a little of the game between the Padres and Expos on ESPN 2 and it reminded me why I don't watch MLB baseball very often! What a brutal display of offense by both teams; or some might say it was good pitching. I tend to think it was the first scenario.

Anyway, a win is a win is a win despite how ugly it may have been!

John (EZ): As always, thanks for the plays!

                Sincerely,
                Bennojd
