FWIW I am far from being an NBA expert, but judging by the way Milwaukee took game 2, the tight way they play Detroit all year and their fine home record, I would be very tempted to take the 5 or 5 1/2 points.
I will wait until I see what others have to say about this;I will play Detroit if those like Memphis, who are extremely hot like it, but on my own and reflecting back on other NBA seasons with the same type of scenario I would play Milwaukee. jmho
ps I am just talking about today, as I do think Det. wins the series.

Savage..i tried using the season trends and past years
and it hurt me the last couple of weeks..
i went to what worked best during college hoops and that
going through how the teams have played the last 6 games
how the main players were playing etc it rocked during college(+200 units for the season)
and it's paid nicely the last 3 days...playoffs are diff. from the regular season.. thanx for your opinion..good luck today

Spaarkie-I know what you are saying re: relative season as opposed to playoffs as Memphis is finding out now.
That being said, I am just not sold on Detroit being favored by now 5 1/2 points on the road.
Again, I am waiting for other respected folks to pick before deciding who/if to bet , but on my own I would look for a barnburner and pick Milwaukee and under.

Also, I just read where Detrorit has lost 16 of last 23 games played at the Bradley Center since 1993-94 season.
My point is that even though this is a different team and a different season, it bothers me that they not only have to win the game but now by 6 points.
Maybe they will, and I hope you are right(assuming that I don't play Milwaukee);right now I am leaning toward passing but as stated waiting for more input.
