In baseball its more common to find % plays that high since most people who are willing to spend 1.30 will spend 1.50 and so on...........Vegas can control their losses that way

Once a spread gets invloved people tend to over analyze things and thats why #'s get more bunched up in the high 50's range to low 60's when a single team is getting POUNDED

You have to use a site that tracks money, or a consensus that is made up of people that are actualy playing the games, not just posting plays.

There must be some massive bucks out there as I figured the "percentage" of the people would be playing the Yanks and Mussina their ace (plus all the usual Yank chalk players every game) especially after they just mopped up on Burhle and co.......Very interesting! Thanks for the number.....I am basically playing hard against Mussina who has had a horrendous start to the year and no where near where he should be.....has not even had any control yet and that is his strength.....Lack of quality pitching is the Yanks big achilles heel this year. Shoenweis has started out as the quality lefty that the Angels thought they had when he first came up......he was hurt then but healthy now and should hamper the Yanks lineup tonight......JMHO THOUGH!!

IMO Vegas wants even action. They want to collect their 10%. Overall the betting public was a winning percentage of 50%. If one fades the overwelming public choices, in the long run you will have 50% winners. The bettor will LOSE money.

I dont mean to sound like an ass but those numbers are just plain WRONG........If 88% were on the Pacers dont u think the line wouldve moved by now? U are getting a very small statistical % and its misleading...........Unless U know where U are getting them from and they are accurate then I wouldnt buy into them IMO

Those %'s are compiled by sportsinsights from 8 different sportsbooks and sports info sites. Oasis, gameday, pinnacle, Canbet, bowmans, sports interaction, betusa, sportsbook.com.
I find the info they compile is very useful!! You can use it anyway you wish or ignore it all together!!!
