Plus, I still think that it's the same Kyle who ripped people off under the name "TheEdgeWins" last year. Why? Well, his name was Kyle, he was from Indiana, he was on TrackPicks with no website and he claimed to be great in baseball and he sucked.

Don't think he deserves free publicity on this site but that's not my call, so whatever.
We have talked about this, It is not the same guy. I've known him for years and he has never had a service on the web. I'm not going to argue about this in here, this is not the bitching forum.

Interesting - I have been doing pretty well this season with the picks that are posted on this board....

4realyo - if you are playing a service that is kicking ass - I like to know what it is so I can jump on.

Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you though.

Thursday's Free Afternoon Play from Prime Sports Picks

Our free pick won again on Wednesday with Atlanta - making it 3 winners in a row this week.

4/22/04: Today's Free Play from Prime Sports Picks

DETROIT TIGERS (Maroth) +158 at MINNESOTA TWINS (Santana) -168:
        MLB - 1:10PM (EST)

These two teams are both putting runs on the board as each is averaging over 6 per game. The Tigers continue to surprise with their new look offensive game and when they hit, they win.

Today Detroit will send its best pitcher to the mound, Mike Maroth. Maroth has appeared to turn things around in 2004 after losing 21 games in 2003 and has quietly put together a string of 3 VERY solid starts, all ending in Tigers' victories.

The Twins, on the other hand, will go with a struggling Johan Santana today. Santana is coming off a tremendous 2003 season, but has just not had the same success this year. His numbers are a bit deceiving however, because he is only allowing 1 hit per inning and 1 walk per game, but he's allowed 11 runs in 3 starts. His problem has been the long ball, having tossed up 4 already.

With both offenses cooking, it seems that the best pitcher will win today and right now that's Maroth. Santana is still being over-valued by the odds makers and Maroth is just not getting any respect. Take Detroit here as a solid value play on

          Cally,

There are a few good guys for NBA: JB, Kiki, Lineback.

For bases, I *****'t found anyone this early in the season that is really standing out. There are a few real good websites that provide enough handicapping info to do your own capping for baseball. Someone gave me a good one on here the other day but I don't think I'm allowed to post it. It's pretty common website but I just hadn't been there in a while.

Bonus MLB Pick on KC/Cle 'Over' 9 105 BY: W. Foote

This was slated to be a High Roller Play on Wednesday Night but was rained out. The early start has taken it off the High Roller Card, as daytime games tend to be lower scoring and the wind is now blowing in from centerfield rather than out. That said, this should still be a rock-solid choice, as there is a boatload of evidence supporting the ‘Over’ here. Kansas City’s Affeldt has been terrible this season, checking in with a 10.24 ERA. And while Sabathia has a very solid ERA, we should note that he is 3-0 (o/u) in 2004. And his starts are not barely going ‘Over”, as they have produced 11, 13 and 13 runs respectively.

Kansas City comes in averaging 5.8 runs per game of offense overall, 6.9 runs per game of offense on the road and 6.2 runs per game of offense vs. left-handed starters. For their part, Cleveland is producing 5.2 runs per game of offense overall, 5.1 runs per game of offense at home and 6.1 runs per game of offense vs. right-handed starting pitchers. We should also note the Indians bullpen is absolutely horrible, sitting on a 6.21 ERA for the season. That is actually the second worst bullpen ERA in all of baseball!

Technically speaking, KC is now 6-0-1 (o/u) their last seven games overall and has not played a single road game under the total this entire season. In addition, the Royals are 20-7 (o/u) vs. bullpens with an ERA of 5.50 or higher dating back to 2001. For their part, the Indians have played ‘Over’ in each of their past three games overall and five of eight at Jacobs Field. Dating back further, the Tribe is 12-2 (o/u) following a game where they gave up 12+ runs, 13-1 (o/u) following a game in which their bullpen pitched 7+ innings and 6-1 (o/u) following a five game span where they are batting .315 or better. Yesterday’s meeting produced 20 total runs, pushing the series to 4-1 (0/u) the past five series meetings in Cleveland. We will call for another high scoring outcome in this one.
