NBA
5* Pistons -11 over Bucks
I will admit I am a Pistons fan. Having watched them dismantle inferior teams all year round I love this pick. 11 points may be a little high but the intensity that they play with defensively and offensively means another big win. The bench is deep at every position and plays with a tenacity I have not seen in any other NBA team since the Bulls of the 90's. Look for Darko to play about 5 min or so of garbage time as they beat the Bucks by twenty. I don't think they win the NBA title this year but they dominate the one dimensional teams like the bucks.
1* T wolves -10.5 over Nuggets
Too many weapons on the t-wolves. the nuggets take their lumps against a determined t-wolves squad that desperately want the playoff monkey off their back. Once again defensive intensity rules the day and will frustrate carmello all night.
MLB
2*Oak -125 over Sea
Two words TROY HUDSON. Oakland has great pitching and this is the cream of the A's crop.
1* Fla +105 over Phillies
Phillies can't hit good pitching and though Pavano is not a world beater he certainly deserves to be favored here. I probably would have bet this at -115 but at +105 it is a steal.
