That is how it is supposed to be. Losing all three games and too much fun all ties in together. You have too much fun= play poorly. Or Play poorly = Must have much more fun. Either way it works out to be a correct answer.

We opened our baseball season yesterday. We lost 6-3 in twelve innings. It was a hell of a game. The team we played won the league three years in a row. So we are about where we need to be.
