  • thinking too much?

I was on fire yesterday, hitting my first 6. Than dropped 3 out of next 4. Biggest bet was J. Oneal over 22.5.....that last dunk helped huh?? I cannot see Milwaukee playing with Detroit, but backdoor is a possibility. Maybe Detroit in the first would be a better bet. Just love Detroit to win the East.....BUT isn't everyone on Detroit...that's the scary part. I am thinking first impulse is Detroit big, Milwaukee plays NO DEFENSE. But is Vegas going to let chalk go 3-1 again?

      ??

Don't entirely trust Sac yet. That big win over LA was Kobe's sabatoge. Then they can't beat GS to win the division?? Dallas is not trustworthy either. I like Minny a little. I like Miami alot today though. Everyone seems to be on NO with a hurt Davis and no Mashburn. Makes no sense. Can't see Detroit falling. Here is Steve Kerr's breakdown:

      \ RASHEED IS THE DIFFERENCE
Boy, what a devastating loss for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, the last day of the regular season. A win would have wrapped up home-court advantage and a first-round matchup with the Miami Heat. Instead Jalen Rose knocks down a 3-pointer and Milwaukee drops to sixth, meaning the Bucks will face the hottest team in the East, the Detroit Pistons. Ouch.

      FORWARDS
Tayshaun Prince is long and lean and can be a scoring threat. But Rasheed Wallace has transformed the Pistons into a championship contender with his versatile play. Wallace is incredibly quick and active defensively, which allows him to extend to the perimeter and guard screen-and-rolls or block shots on the interior.

The Bucks' Desmond Mason had a breakout season and established himself as one of the better small forwards in the NBA. Joe Smith has been a good all-around player for Milwaukee and will hit the offensive boards hard.
      Advantage: Pistons

      GUARDS
Detroit's Richard Hamilton is very efficient with his old-school use of screens and movement without the ball. Chauncey Billups may not be a pure point guard, but his love for scoring has led to a lot of big shots the past couple of seasons.

Michael Redd is one of the best shooters in the game and became an All-Star this year for Milwaukee. Damon Jones also has had a nice season. His assist-to-turnover ratio is among the league leaders, and his ability to knock down 3-pointers keeps defenses honest.
      Even

      CENTER
Ben Wallace is one of the main reasons for Detroit's No. 1-ranked defense this season. He blocks shots, rebounds and intimidates people with his speed and quickness.

Brian Skinner has been a great find for Milwaukee. He's big and active and is a good scorer and rebounder.
      Advantage: Pistons

      BENCH
Detroit's bench puts major pressure on teams defensively and has the ability to change games. Lindsey Hunter and Mike James wreak havoc on the opponent while Corliss Williamson and Mehmet Okur provide great scoring and interior play.

For the Bucks, Toni Kukoc and Keith Van Horn will need to shoot well because Detroit's defense is ferocious.
      Advantage: Pistons

      COACHING
Detroit's Larry Brown is considered one of the best coaches in the game, so he'll get the edge. But Terry Porter quickly has established himself as a fine coach in his own right, installing with great success the Sacramento Kings offense he learned as an assistant under Rick Adelman.
      Advantage: Pistons

      OVERALL
Detroit is just too good for Milwaukee. They will put a lot of pressure on Jones in the backcourt and will make it tough for the Bucks to score like they're accustomed to. Bucks fans will curse Jalen Rose all summer.
      Pistons win in five games.

Liking Minny tonight, first half play especially. New Orleans cannot win this series unless Davis has an ankle transplant. If they somehow win game 1; I may sit him in game 2. He looks slow and is only shooting jumpers....
