  • NBA Championship Odds

To me the NBA Championship odds are absurd.
Lakers are at +1.25, Sacramento at +3.5 and San Antonio at 4.5.
Since when does the defending champ and still a very good team deserve to be related below the Lakers and the always choking Kings/Queens?
I bet San Antonio as a regular play to win championship with very little thought.
All opinions welcome on odds of above teams and any others(many of others are also crazy -Pistons, etc.)

    NBA ODDS

San Antonio has to get by a tough Memphis team which I like at the +9 and over 175 tomorrow. Memphis will play and no one in San Antonio will expect them to win similar to the way the Suns almost took San Antonio down last year but fell a little short. I think San Antonio can win the series but it will drain them and the Lakers will be able to beat them. The Kings have a lot on the line and they have not responded lately and if they can not win it all this year they will probably have a new coach. I will not be suprised if Memphis knocks the out in the first round, anyway thats my thoughts on it savage 1.

Cb40-SA did lose 3-4 to Memphis during regular season, and that is reason for concern.
Houston defeated the Lakers the first two times they played them, and I think Houston is going to give LA more of a battle than most folks think, although Lakers will probably prevail.

The Pacers will win it all this year in 7 games.

At 8-1 Indy is worth a shot.
          What about Minn at 7.5-1?

              I agree with Memphis.

I think Memphis takes out San Antonio.

Personally considering the fact the Memphis played lousy and lost four in a row down the stretch ,and since San Antonio are defending champs, I would be very much surprised if Memphis wins more than two games in the series.

Based on what I saw tonight Lakers should at best be 5-1 odds to win the championship;there are at least 5 or 6 teams out there who are just as good if not better than they are.
Anyone who took 1.25 odds for these pretenders to take it all just isn't thinking.
