Went 3-2 yesterday and won 2 units! Record is 10-4 and +22 units!
The game that I like today is the Toronto Blue Jays Halladay -1.80! I don't like playing games with this high of juice, so I decided to play the Blue Jays -1 1/2 RL -1.10 for 3 units instead.
Halladay lost his last start against the Tigers this year 0-7 vs Detroit and J Johnson. However he has thrown 3 shutouts against the Tigers in his previous 6 starts. The Blue Jays have won 7 of the last 8 series against the Tigers and I look for Halladay to pitch a jem today!!
Johnson had lost 9 straight starts against Toronto at one point in his career when he was pitching with the Orioles. Here are some of the Blue Jay's batting averages against Johnson;
Dave Berg 5 for 7 .714 avg
Frank Catalanotto 4 for 13 .308 avg
Carlos Degado 14 for 38 .368 avg with 3 HR's
Chris Gomez 3 for 12 .250 avg with 1 HR
Eric Hinske 5 for 15 .333 avg with 1 HR
Josh Phelps 5 for 16 .313 avg with 2 HR's
Vernon Wells 7 for 19 .368 avg with 3 HR's
Chris Woodard 5 for 19 .263 avg with 1 HR
Six different players have gone yard against Johnson. This is a rematch between Halladay and Johnson, the Tigers won the previous game 7-0 when these two hurlers met against one another in Toronto this year. Look for the Blue Jays to come out on top in this one. Playing Toronto - 1 1/2 RL for 3 units!
