Cooper/Bonds
Here is what I know about Cooper.
Righthander Brian Cooper makes a return to the major league level as he pitches today for the Giants. Cooper compiled a 15-9 mark with a 3.98 ERA last season at Charlotte, the Triple-A affiliate of the White Sox. He was signed by the Giants as a free agent in November and was a non-roster invitee to spring training.
The 29-year-old Cooper had pitched in 1999-2001 with Anaheim and made two appearances for the Blue Jays in 2002. He owns a career major league mark of 5-11 with a 5.86 ERA.
Bonds is expected to get the day off today. Don't know if this is for sure yet.
Just in case the Giant's can't score without Bonds, I'm also going to play Milwaukee.
