what is the reasoning behind the Mizzou pick? TAMU just beat OU at home...I know that Mizzou almost knocked off OU but they didn't and TAMU did. Last time they played TAMU they got drilled 51-14.

I like Louisville too...but do you have any news on that game?

I'm leaning towards Alabam right now but will have to look at that game some more. LSU has played terrible the last 2 games and if they play like that against Bama they will get spanked.

Missouri could be a good play but i'm not sure on that one. I believe they play better at home so I'll probably pass on that one myself.

        Louisville at Southern Mississippi
I played against the Cardinals last week against Cincinnati, but I look for them to bounce back in this game. Louisville is 5-1 against the spread in road games when playing against a team with a winning record over the last three seasons. Louisville is also 10-2 against the spread after one or more consecutive losses against the spread over the last three seasons. Southern Miss is 1-6 against the spread this season, and only is 1-9 against the spread off of a win against a conference rival over the last 3 seasons. The Cards are the better team, they get the win here.

        Missouri at Texas A&M
I like the Tigers to make this a tight game. Its true that the Tigers play much better at home, but I think they will play well against an Aggies defense that is banged up. It remains to be seen what the mind set of A&M is here after the big win, if they are not focused, Missouri is more than capable of pulling off the upset themselves. I think 9 points is way too many for A&M to cover here. The Aggies are 0-6 against the spread after one or more consecutive straight up wins this season.

        Alabama at LSU
The Tigers were lucky to beat Kentucky last week, but I think their luck runs out here. Bama is the better team, and they have the talent on defense to shut down the Tigers offense. This is Alabama's bowl game. With the sanctions preventing them from going to a bowl they still want to win the SEC West. LSU is 9-24 against the spread in home games after playing their last game on the road since 1992. Look for the Tide to Roll!

        Georgia at Auburn
I know that Georgia is banged up, but they are still the better team. This has also been a series that has been dominated by the road team. The road team in this series in 8-2 against the spread the last ten meetings. Georgia is 19-6 against the spread on the road in their last 25 games against teams with a winning record. Georgia will find a way to win this game and get revenge for last seasons 7 point loss to Auburn.

        Good luck guys,
        John

            EZ,

            Looks good.

However, I wouldn't bet on or against Texas A&M - very inconsistent team.

              Art,

You are right about A&M being inconsistant. Thats why I think they let down in this spot. Missouri has enough talent to give them a run for their money. Don't see the Aggies getting up for Missouri after beating the number one team in the nation.

              Good luck,

                Excellent points.

College teams are more often down after a big upset victory than after a defeat.
