    To all uconn players

    It sucks to lose that way.......and i am not making fun of anybody, nor am i bragging that i won..........i am not sure there was a 'deserved to win' in this play, but you guys surely did not deserve to lose............the only thing i wish is that is was on monday night football because you know al michaels would have made some comment about it..........

    the thing about it is , when you win like that the feeling is nowhere nearly as good and the bad feeling when you lose like that

    to all those that lost, hopefully you will bounce back soon!!!!!!!

    On ESPNews, every time they show the final Okafor free throw go through, they cut to Calhoun and Coach K shaking hands and the announcer says...

    "...and after a MEANINGLESS 3 pointer UConn gets the 1 point victory."

        these games

        it always sucks when you have these big games because no matter what, in our forum, so many quality cappers win and so may lose...............

        'meaningless' 3???????? my friend watched it at mandaly bay where (for reasons i do not understand), they did not put up a money line and said the reaction was priceless..........my boy had uconn and is no searching the vegas streets for answers.....

        it is amazing how often i feel as i have been in that situation this year alone..........you sit there as he goes to line, either make both or miss both..........sometimes that double bonus works against you with the spread

        oh well, i am happy, but i never enjoy seeing people lose even when they overhype their plays.........

          Yeah he misses that second FT and Uconn actually plays D and it might be a different result.

          Congrats to you on Duke, I had Uconn. Worse feeling in the world to get a beat like that!

              guys

              honestly, it is like drugs.......usually when i lose a game like that, i sit there for hours watching 6 sportcenters.........maybe the 595-598 channels on directv and then lay in bed aimlessly swearing i will quit betting...........

              just take a tylenol pm, xanax or something good and sleep it off

              i wish there were something i could say to ease the feeling/////// but the fucked up part is when you win like that, the rush/high is not even that good, just another win, but a loss like that will be talked about for decades

                    Thanks for having some class! I love your plays and have followed them many times. However, tonight I did not follow and took UCONN. What an ugly game! The refs would not let the game be played. They were too much a part of the game. I did not even find it a very enjoyable game to watch because neither team could ever get in to a groove. Being a high school basketball coach I know full well the frustration this must have caused both teams. To top the evening off, Duhon hits a meaningless shot at the buzzer. Thank you for not saying how great you are (and I think you are) for picking this game. I have seen another dumbass spout off about what a great capper he is because Duke covered. I personally appreciate your post of condolences and wish you the best of luck!!

                      I respect you Shorty but aren't you being overly dramatic?

                      I will sum up this Duke/ UConn contest from a sports bettor's perspective:

                      IT WAS ONLY ONE MEASLY GAME!!!!!!

                      This game really should not matter that much to those that won it or to those that lost it...........unless you bet too much on it which in that case you should ask yourself why??????

                          Got to admit that w/ 4:00 left in the game a Conn player would have taken his money back and cancelled his bet if was given that option. There is no way Duke was supposed to lose that game but they can say all the want about the great Coach K, but Duke blew that game. I am not a Duke fan or a Uconn fan, just a fan of my money, which I had on Duke. But w/ 4 minutes to go I thought I had it in the bag. Tough one for the Conn players, beleive me I have been there this year, and for this one I got lucky..

                              didn't see it cause i was watching the nba....what happened....what i gather is uconn was up by 4 and with the clock running out duke ran down court and threw up a 3 that went in? that doesnt seem out of the ordinary but just sounds like a backdoor burn.........anything lead of 6 or under and the opposing basketball team never quits with any time left......what is it that i missed?
