what shocks me the most, duke an underdog, i only remember once in my life that ever happened, against mich st this year.....1-0 to my knowledge

uconn 0-1 against ACC this year, its bullshit stats like this that make me think, duke very well may win

I really think the layoff helps Duke a ton here. Everything starts with the guard play in the tourney and that is definitely what Duke is about. Duke's injuries and tired legs will recover for this matchup when they are the dog.

As in baseball, "you can't hide from the ball", you probably will be seeing other players from UConn other than Gordon shooting free throws today (UConn 60% from the line on the road). UConn has the better inside game no doubt, but it hasn't been their style to dominate a game from there. Their inside game is played to kick it out for the guards to end up scoring. Dukes guards are very strong defensively.

Duke has done better against the same opponents this season.

As dominating as UConn is, they very well may not be ready for the step up class level in an opponent. An opponent that is coming off a close win where they looked tired.

In what ends up being UConn's 1st close game, I'll take Duke from the line at the finish over what UConn will bring.

If this is another UConn blowout, it won't matter. I don't think they will get another easy win here.
