Being the accomplished fisherman that you are, could you tell me why the Bulls are favored by 3? I would like to take something on the game but not sure which way to go. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks! Good Luck!

          okay, help me out here

Denver/Houston played on 12/26/03, Denver was -4½@ home and did not cover the number. Houston has covered the number in the last 3 with one pushing the posted number. Houston has spanked Denver 5 of the last 6 they have met, with the last time Denver being a 4½ favorite winning by 1. So, the line today opens at Denver-5, looks like the books are begging for Houston money (and getting it)

            Den?HOu

Doesn't the line only move up because there is money coming in on that side? Den opened 4.5 and now 5.5. hc

The best I can figure, Bulls should be -2, but then, Maggette is questionable, line could be adjusted for that. I don't spend much time on games that are in a circle.

Yes, money moves the line. You could have 300 people betting a total of $150,000, one guys bets $200,000 and moves the line. Do I dare call it smart money???
I may be accused of being a fader, or guessing at it.
