Posted this yesterday and figured I would add it to todays thread. I have an appointment so will be back later this afternoon with my plays for today. Good Luck to everyone with their choices.

Samsung Radio Shack 500 April 2 2004 - Qualifying Matchups

    Robby Gordon vs Terry Labonte

    Robby Gordon -140
    Terry Labonte +110

This one jumped out at me as soon as I went down the list of Qualifying Matchups. In 7 races at TMS Labonte has averaged an 18th place start while Gordon has averaged a 24th place start. If you were to offer me this matchup on race day I would jump all over it as Terry has averaged an 8th place finish here. This however is qualifying. last year Labonte won the battle between these two (Labonte 12, Gordon 21) for the pole. If you want to go back to 2000, Labonte won the pole but that really isnt relivant now. He won't win the pole by any stretch of the imagination but Robby Gordon's best qualifier at this track is last years 21st (24 before that and 29 before that). Hendrick cars should do well here this weekend.

One last note. The reason I stated I would play Terry if this matchup is available on race is while qualifying 18th, he has averaged an 8th place finish. Robby on the other hand while starting 24th has an average finish of 31st place. Lets hope this one is still kicking around on race day.

    Terry Labonte +110 = LOSS

      Best of Luck.

I look at some of those sports that some would feel are more obscure but some in my opinion offer some great value when in comparison to the more conventional plays. Many of those over the course of a weekend are by far my biggest plays and best when it comes to making money for me.

        NHL

        Calgary at Los Angeles

All three this year have hit 5 plus goals and the Kings likely have the golf clubs ready to go just waiting for the season to end. Calgarys last 5 road games have them scoring 3.4 per game and Kings last 5 home games have them giving up 3.4 per game. Looks like a good combination to me and Calgary should light the Kings up. The Kings have only scored 4 goals in their last 5 games so I can't play the over on the game.

        Calgary ML -117= WIN
        Calgary Over 2.5 -110 = WIN

        NBA

        Orlando -4.5 -105 = LOSS

        Good Luck to everyone.
