  • calling all BASEBALL cappers

As you guys know, i am fairly new here......i started posting last college football season and got an entire college basketball season in.........and i am sad to see it go........i think i told you when this started i would probably be between 58-62 % on my big (10*) college plays and somewher enear 50% on the rest......well, this held true, and i am glad i could do my part.......i can see that many of you stuck with me all season and made a solid profit on my plays, which is all i care about

with that said, this will be the first season i attempt to cap baseball........but as a favor to all the people at bettorschat, UNLESS I CAN PROVE MYSELF WORTHY, DO NOT TREAT MY BASEBALL PLAYS WITH THE SAME APPROACH AS MY COLLEGE BASKETBALL..........i am a college sports capper and my theories do not work too well in the pro sports

so who are the good proven baseball cappers around here? god knows i will be coattailing

    WE DON'T

want to pat ourselves on the back because sometimes our hand will get in the way but we did end up over 100 units last year in baseball as documented at Trackpicks and Gurutracjer sports monitors. Hopefully, we will do better this year.

Ken. I like San Diego too, but I don't see the value you do. They are the 9-5 favorites to win the NL West. The O/U is 84 wins which I think is a good over. Also, the Giants are 12/5 to win the West, but their over under is one more than SD. Go figure.

I'm making an even bigger play on UNDER 85 wins for the Giants. Schmidt will not be ready for the start of the season and even when able to pitch, he won't have the velocity he had last year. Nen, the closer, is not ready either and hasen't thrown a pitch yet. Bonds will be lucky to hit 35 homers without his steroids. This team is going to have a hard time scoring runs. It's going to be a long year for San Francisco.

Baseball is king! You will not regret trying it out. Just be careful in the first 2-3 months, especially with heavy favorites. Give yourself a chance to figure out which teams are worth your money and which ones aren't. Last season, for example, I lost my ass on the Oakland As before realizing that until that team learned how to hit, they weren't worth laying -250 or -300, even if Zito, Mulder or Hudson were pitching.

NSA's NBA Game Of The Year was on Dallas -4.5 on March 31. Orlando won 108-99. It was a cloudy day for Sonny LaFouchi.
