I usually don't play very many future or prop bets, but I really like this one.
DETROIT TIGERS OVER 66.5 REGULAR SEASON WINS -110
The Tigers are my sleeper team this season. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying they are going to contend for the AL title, or even their division, but I believe they are going to be a much improved team this year, and 70 wins should not be asking too much. They have made some nice additions to this team. Rondell White, Fernando Vina and Pudge Rodriguez bring a lot of experience to this team. Pudge will make a big difference, not so much with his bat, but with the way he handles this young pitching staff. They were brutal last season, but the Tigers have some good young pitching in Maroth, Bonderman and Cornejo and they have added a quality starter in Jason Johnson from Baltimore. This staff should get more run support this season with the additions to the lineup and I also look for Bobby Higginson and Demetri Young to have very solid seasons with a little more help in the line up this season. The Tigers are also on the verge of signing Ugueth Urbina so they will also have an outstanding closer in their pen. I will be shocked if this team does not win at least 70 this year.
