Here is a write up on Nebraska/Hawaii that I found from a person that follows Hawaii religiously

-Hawaii is a solid 13-3 SU scoring an average of 72.8 ppg and 46.2% shooting from the field, while holding opponents to just 63.4 ppg, 29.8pts in the 1st half, and just 41% shooting from the field. Neb is just 3-9 SU scoring an average of 68 ppg, and LOW of 30pts in the 1st half, while allowing opponents to score an average of 73 ppg, 33.2pts in the 1st half, and 44.1% shooting from the field.

Neb is also allowing more rebounds per a game on the road, while Hawaii has averaged a higher board amount at home over opponents. Hawaii is also 1-0 SU and ATS vs Neb since 1997, so this is not their first ever meeting.

But here is where the real advantage may lie with Hawaii. Neb is coming off of 3 days rest and two NIT games, whereas Hawaii has had 5 days to rest at home after that Ass spanking of Utah St. In these two games, Neb is coming off of an emotional hard fought game with instate rival Creighton and then in a hard fought up and down game with high scoring Niagara. I think they are alittle spent. But if that didnt do it, I have gotten info from another Hawaii Capper, that Neb had trouble getting a flight out of Lincoln and then on to Hawaii. In fact, their flight arrived here late on Sunday. So after they arrived here, you have to also take into account the 5 hour time difference they had to endure, and now they are looking at midnight their time. They had maybe 18 hours to adjust to before tip off, and after traveling 12-15 hours in air, I gotta think that they will be suffering from major jetlag, giving Hawaii another advantage.

This game for Hawaii is an important one, and the Hawaii fans are very excited about having this one played at home today. In fact, the Stan Sheriff Arena is sold out, for the first time this season, if I am not mistaken. That is over 10,500 excited fans. And dont forget the Hawaiian Warrior Mascot himself, Vili "the Warrior" will be in da house as well, making sure that the crowd doesnt let up on this contagious enthusiasm which makes HCA so strong.

Lastly, the point that I was making in my writeup above about the fact that the Hawaii Volleyball team #1 BYU) and the Baseball team(defending National Champs Rice) have just played the Top teams in their sports , was the fact that the State of Hawaii and its fans have been all week pumped up and excited about the Opponents coming in to play, and that all of this excitement from those other sports will be carried over to this one, making for some strong HCA and bring alot of motivation to the Warrior players

I'm starting to believe Warrior that this shit is fixed. How can you go from playing so good to playing so bad in the same fucking game.
        Good luck,

            EZ and SeanieMac.

I totally agree this one is total bullshit.

I will say this though. Unless the line in the: Michigan/ Hawaii game is over 10.

I will be all over Michigan. There is noway that Hawaii will be ready for that game on wednesday night in Ann Arbor. Not going to happen.

They will get it handed to them.

No doubt we were on the right side. If you were on Nebraska you got a gift, but sometimes its better to be lucky than good and tonight was one of those nights.

              Homer,

I agree, Hawaii will get their ass handed to them on Wednesday.
              Good luck,
              John

i also agree with hawaii getting drilled by michiga, i actually thought they should have been playing the tourney

tommy amaker's philosophy has always been make the best of what u got, so we know his troops will be ready

i also like another WAC team, Boise over Marquette

2 teams that have been going in opposite directions from day 1

                  Games like this :

Are a perfect example of why I never put all my eggs in one basket . As I have said in the past " It can and Will happen " !

The norm can be expected in about 90 to 93 percent of most games , that leaves a 10 to 7 percent lea-way for the " Twilite Zone " games as I call them and Rod Sterling would be proud of this one

Anyone who believes in the loading-up on one game suffers from the narrow-mind syndrome and will pay the price eventually.

                      Fucking Hawaii

they hit 1 of 6 FTs in the last 33 seconds and 2 of last 10. They did their best to give that game away.

MMM, I agree with you. A game such as last night's is a perfect example of following strict money management rules.
