It is a betting syndicate. The term syndicate has been overused in the past few years in gambling circles. A syndicate is supposed to be a group of players who pool their money together for the best information and then hit a game hard. It is not unusual for a syndicate to play a game only to buy it back after the line has moved in their favor. Now the term is very diluted because many services know it sells.
Thanks to all for the high quality posts today. I notice our friend with the Gerry's Gems posted UL-Lafayette earlier. They are taking significant money as the line is moving down. This is unusual for a dog that is low profile. Hopefully, Gerry has something there.
