Tuesday NCAA Basketball........
These are my plays for Tuesday night's NIT and NCAA play in game........
NIT
3 STAR: Nebraska (+2) OVER CREIGHTON
The Blue Jays finished the season at 20-8, but they really struggled down the strech, losing 6 out of their last 9 games to end the season. This line looks low, Creighton has dominated this series and beat Nebraska by 7 points in December as an 8 point chalk, but now are only a two point favorite. I look for the Huskers to finally get the win against Creighton. Even though Nebraska struggles on the road, I look for them to break through tonight against a struggling Blue Jay team that is only 14-24 against the spread in home games over the last three seasons. The Huskers have been solid in non conference play this year going 5-1 against the spread and they are 6-4 against the spread on the road. Take the points here!
NCAA PLAY-IN GAME
3 STAR: FLORIDA A&M (+4) OVER Lehigh
Most of the public money is coming in on 20-10 Lehigh in this play in game against 14-16 Florida A&M, but I like the Rattlers here. Florida A&M is on a nice roll after winning three MEAC tourney games in a row to get to the big dance. The Rattlers should be ready for this atmosphere, they loaded up their non-con schedule with tough opponents this season. They had a four-game December road trip where they played North Carolina State, Florida, Georgia and Alabama State, all of whom are in this years tournament, and they also played a road game at Marquette. With a 20-10 record, Lehigh appears to be the better team, but I think these teams are matched up pretty even. Lehigh was good at home at 13-1, but get them off of their home court and they were a below .500 team at 7-9 and only two of the nine loses were against power schools UCONN and Vandy. I'll take the points here, A&M can win this game!
