Beat em twice this year, 1 home 1 away, won by 8 & 9...TU record on road 2-12, 1 with a last second tip in against San Jose St (worse team in conf), SMU 7-9 on road...TU overall 9-19, SMU 11-17...Though SMU has lost 4 of the last 5, they played the stronger teams in Conf. at the end...

In addition, TU Athletic Director just had (Alumni) urged on meeting with TU Coach Phillips...They agreed to honor his next year on his contract...

Phillips has been EXPERIMENTING with all new offense, players, substitutions, anything...This team is in big disarray..
