I love to play roulette. I can tell you how I play.

you know how you have 1 2 3
4 5 6 etc.


I usuall y take number 23.

I go heads up on 23. Put one on each of the corners around the 23. That ****** all three rows around it. you get your money back if one of them hits but if the key number hits you make some pretty good bank. That is a way if you get a hot number you make some money if not you most likely get to play for a while and have alot of fun.

I usually only play roulette at the local casino as I'm waiting for a spot at a blackjack table, but I do have a strategy. I like to play 2 of the 3 thirds (1st 12, 2nd 12, 3rd 12--or you can play 2 of the 3 rows). Stick with the same 2 that you originally picked; don't try to move with the numbers as they come in. Your odds on each roll are better than 65% and your payout per roll, if you hit one of the thirds/rows you played, is 1 unit (the winning third/row pays 2 to 1).

Another thing you can do is play 2 of the 3 thirds and 2 of the 3 rows. This blankets the entire board except for 0,00 and 4 numbers on the board. For example, if you play the 2nd and 3rd 12s and the first two rows, every number will pay you money except for the 0's and 3, 6, 9 or 12. If you hit both thirds and both rows, you win 2 units; if you miss both thirds or both rows, but win on a third or a row, you lose 1 unit. Of course, if the ball settles in one of the 6 numbers I mentioned, you lose 4 units.

If you are betting a fair amount of money per unit with either approach, it is wise to hedge with a small play on 0/00 on each roll, which pays 17-1 and which will save you the heartache that comes when the ball drops into either of those dreaded green slots.

These methods are systematic and won't send you home with the jackpots that can come from playing the inside numbers, but honestly, how often does anybody win playing roulette? It is the most luck-oriented game of them all. I just use these methods to pass the time while waiting for blackjack and hopefully to grind out a little play money.

bgh2003, what boat do you go to? I go to harrah's joliet or the empress and mostly play craps. Wish they would get the poker room back at the empress, love to play poker.

Roulette, you may as well flush the cash.. I have tried everything from quadrants to number chasing, to that video from John Patrick.

In roulette, the odds are really against you..horribly so.

Stick with BJ and the best game in the house.. craps.

if u need advice stick to the SLOT MACHINES & rent a VIDEO GAME CASINO if u own a PLAYSTATION or X-BOX and learn from that
