OHIO (10-19 SU/13-9-1 ATS) at BOWLING GREEN (13-16 SU/12-11-1 ATS)
Ohio visits Bowling Green for a MAC Conference first-round game. Ohio is coming off a 60-59 home win over Kent State on Saturday as +5½ point underdogs. Jaivon Harris scored 19 points as Ohio withstood a late rally by Kent State. The Bobcats led 49-32 in the second half before Kent went on a 25-9 run to get within 58-57, but they held on for the win. Harris was 6-of-10 from the 3-point line for Ohio, which made just 15 baskets and shot 33 percent from the field. He also had eight rebounds. Terren Harbut added 12 points in the win. Ohio is averaging 67.1 ppg, while allowing the opposition to score 70.1 ppg. Harris is averaging a team-high 15.4 ppg off of 40.4 percent shooting from long range. He is the only Bobcat averaging in double-digits. Thomas Stephens is averaging 9.8 ppg and Harbut chips in with 8.7 ppg, but is shooting a dismal 28.6 percent from downtown.
Bowling Green is off a 78-75 OT loss at Eastern Michigan on Saturday as +1½ point underdogs. Ronald Lewis hit 18-of-18 free throws and led the Falcons with 24 points. Neither team led by more than four points in the second half and each had a chance to win in the closing seconds of regulation. Bowling Green had a chance to tie the game at the end of overtime, but both Cory Eyink and Josh Almanson missed 3-point attempts before the buzzer sounded. The Falcons average 71.4 ppg and allow their foes to score 71.5 ppg. Lewis leads the team in scoring this season with 17.0 ppg and also grabs a team-high 4.8 rpg. John Reimold is shooting 40.4 percent from downtown and averaging 15.3 ppg, while Kevin Netter chips in with 12.7 ppg and 4.4 boards per game. The team has been solid from beyond the arc in MAC play, hitting 39.6 percent of their bombs. The Falcons also have five players averaging 4.0 or more boards per game. Ohio comes in 1-5 SU and 3-3 ATS in their last six games, while Bowling Green is 5-1 ATS versus Ohio, including an 81-71 home win over the Bobcats on February 11th as -7 point chalks. Lay the points.

Eastern Michigan travels to Marshall for a MAC Conference first-round game. Eastern Michigan is off a 78-75 home win in OT over Bowling Green on Saturday as -1½ point favorites. Markus Austin scored 25 points to lead the Eagles to the win. Austin hit 5-of-9 shots from behind the 3-point line and scored 19 points in the second half as the Eagles rallied from a 38-33 halftime deficit. Bowling Green had a chance to tie the game at the end of overtime, but missed two three pointers in the waning seconds. Eastern Michigan is averaging 71.4 ppg and allowing 70.0 ppg. Austin is leading the team in scoring with 13.8 ppg and also pulls down 3.1 rpg. John Bowler is scoring 13.2 ppg and pulling down a team-high 8.1 boards per game, while James (Boo) Jackson scores 10.6 ppg and grabs 8.0 rpg. JaQuan Hart averages 10.1 ppg to give the Eagles four players in double-digits
Marshall is off a 74-70 loss at Miami-Ohio on Saturday as +9 point underdogs. Marvin Black led Marshall with 18 points; Ronny Dawn added 14 points and Mark Patton had 10 points in the losing cause. Marshall led 39-31 until Miami-Ohio went on a 21-8 run to go ahead 52-47 with 9:44 to play. Miami-Ohio hit 9-of-25 three-pointers, while Marshall went 7-for-9 beyond the arc and shot 51.1 percent overall. Marshall is scoring 69.7 ppg, while allowing 73.9 ppg to their opponents. Black is the only player on the team who is scoring in double figures with 14.3 ppg. He also leads the squad on the boards with 7.3 rpg. The team does get plenty of balance in scoring as A.W. Hamilton (8.7 ppg), Dawn (8.3 ppg), Patton (7.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg), Enoch Bunch (6.6 ppg), Tre Whitted (6.3 ppg) and David Anderson (6.2 ppg) all chip in. Hamilton is one of the better passers in the league (2nd in MAC) with 5.4 apg. The Thundering Herd ended the season on a 3-0 ATS run and have done well versus Eastern Michigan, going 7-1 SU and ATS the last eight meetings. Lay the points.
