    Ladies and Gents,

I have been crunching some numbers for this season and I am wondering if you all think this system will work. I am of the belief that the Red Sox and Yankees will combine for over 200 wins. This puts winning percentage around 60%. IF you bet the ml for each of these teams minus the head to head match ups, you would be up for the season whatever your units are. You would still have to weight your games, however, I think that this may work. Any thoughts?

I don't see those 2 teams combining for over 200 wins. And you will be laying a lot of big juice on those games.

the sox and yanks will probably be favorites for most of the season, resulting in an unfavorable moneyline value. they payoff may not be as high as one may think.

You will quite often see lines

such at NYY -360 vs the likes of D-Rays et al. There are lower echelon team that will bite them......if the Yanks go 6-2 vs them you will have +600 vs -720....showing a loss in just two games yet WINNING SIX of them.

Better to pick up the big juice AFTER they incur a loss to a Dray like team.

I actually made out MUCH better last year parlaying two heavy weights to a 1:1 pay ratio! I.e. the Yanks at -300 and the Twins at home vs someone at -160 would pay over 1 to 1 at around getting 120 for laying 100.

JMHO and FWIW though! Best of luck and can't wait for Baseball!! Gv

Thanks for the feedback. The lines will be bad most of the season, I need to think of a way to make the $ work for a profit...

Great point Vike! I am wondering if I can take that into account. My play last year was 5th starters and the over and it did well.....Hopefully can figure something with this!
