10* MVC Tourney GOY---->Sou. illi (-12.5) vs Evansville---->First of all , let me say i will not have a GOY in every coference tourney, and this is my first (and 2nd, see below).........there seems to be this theorty that sou. illinois is tried and needs the rest before the tourney...........well, if they lose this game somehow, they are going to end up with a bad seed and will likely not be in the tourney long..........i believe differently and i think this team wants to win this conference tourney and evansville is terrible, with no good wins all year........both games played by these teams this year were blowouts and i cannot see this one being any closer
10* Southern Conf. Tourney Goy--->ETSU (-4.5) vs. Tennessee-chatt---> I am not sure about this line, thought it would come out at 8, but just the fact alone that UTC is coming off 2 tough games, with a late last night OT game would make me like ETSU here...........but even if that were not the case, i would like them b/c tim smith is easily the best player in this league and i can see this team even winning a round in the big dance.........they know that if they lose this, they are staying home, but they have only lost 1 game in the past 2 months , i cannot see them losing here
10* Texas Tech (-9.5) vs. iowa state---->texas tech closes the season against one of the big 12's worst road teams............before showing to play the last 2, iowa state was blown out in 4 of their previous 5 with the otherbeing a loss to baylor..........andre emmitt's last game and although senior day means nothing to me, the fact that iowa state sucks on the road does..........tech is in, iowa state is out and should be looking ahead to the conference tourny
10* Texas (-5) vs. KSU---->I still think this is the big 12's best team but i guess we will see in march..they lost a tough one at okla state the other night so they should be ready here........ksu has not beaten kansas, okla state or missouri here so there is no reason to think they will beat a texas team that should be up fpr the game
10* Michigan (+1.5) vs. Northwestern---->I still believe Michigan has a shot to get into the tourney but they have to win this game and get to the semifinals of their tourney...........Michigan has been very predictable (at least for us michigan fans) in the sense that they have beaten all the teams they normally beat and lose to the ones they normall lose too...........northwestern is obviously better than anyone thought but it sucks for them b/c they have a better conference record and nobody talks about them getting in..........michigan tries hard every game, they just do not have much talent, but enough to beat northwestern
10*Wisconsin-Milwaukee (E) vs. Detroit----->2 teams seemingly going in the opposite directioon with detroit winning 9 straight and wisc. mil tanking it toward the end of the year.........the loss to manahtten kieed this team b/c it assured that only the winner of this conference tourney would go to the dance..........nt much was made though of conference player od the year dylan page being hurt a lot toward the end for wisc. mil but he looked good last game and my thought process is that wisc. mil was probably gearing up for this trouney............and what a weird freaking tourney this is with detroit playing the past 2 night without wisc. mil playing at all
