    UConn -(WINNER)

    Posting my 1st chalk here:eek:

Seton Hall coming off a blowout win at home against the deadly Georgetown team. Uconn coming off a last second road win, which they most likely should have lost. Looking at the av numbers for the games in which these two played the same opponents, UConn has done much better against the 14 teams. Overall they have done much better against tougher competition. They have a road game against Syracuse to fininsh off the season. I think they wake up and blow out Seton Hall here and start prepping for the post season. I got a feeling many will find the points attractive, but I'm not taking that bait.

          Texas +(LOSER)

This is another line I find interesting. Crusing around the net I see many also think Vegas is giving away free money here. Despite the fact that Ok St pounded Texas as a (7-) dog at Texas earlier, they are in effect saying with this line that Texas would be the better team on a nuetral court. From the numbers, Texas couldn't have played any worse that day. They were defensively and offensively out rebounded, Ok St made a much greater percentage of their free throws with many more attempted, and shot a higher percentage from the floor including the 3 point line. Texas is 10-6 SU against Ok St, and is now down this year with the chance to even up the series tonight. One thing to note, Texas has played better competition to this point. On the road, against better, they have av 37 rebounds while Ok St has av 29 rebounds at home. They also give up fewer turnovers on the road than Ok St does at home. Texas has had trouble scoring (FG% 40) and commit more fouls on the road. I think the defensive intensity they will bring tonight will make up for those faults. The Horns have done well SU against good offensive and good defensive teams in the past, while Ok St has not faired as well. Texas had a close 3 point win in a sandwich game against Texas Tech, but Okl St hasn't looked strong over their last three against weaker competition. They also have a better record against the same opponents and have held them to 7 points less than Ok St, out-rebounding those teams, and committed less turnovers in those games. Though Ok St is 15-0 SU at home (5-5 ATS), this will be the lowest line set for a home game for them this year.

                    Adding

                    Homer's Washington move (WINNER)

NO seems to do better on the road against the upper echelon teams. They aren't as affective against the weaker talent. I think their is value in this line with Washington's play of late. I also see over the season, after Washington has a bad stretch, the lines makers over compensate. Then Wash seems to win 3 of 4 ATS or thereabouts. Wash has trouble scoring but NO isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut. After the 1st two games at NO, with NO scoring 97 and 120, I think we'll see a low 90's affair with Wash keeping it close.

                    off the net.....

The Hornets, who will return home for a pair of games after tonight's tilt,
have lost five of six and eight of their last 10 on the road and are 13-16
                    away from home this season.

New Orleans has already beaten the Wizards twice this season, but could be at
a disadvantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won eight
straight and 10 of the last 11 meetings. The Hornets, though, have won five of
                    their last eight in DC.

After the contest, Stackhouse announced that he had played his last game of
the season because of continued problems stemming from the right knee surgery
that sidelined him for the first 45 games of the season.

I esp like the Stackhouse touch to tonights game. I think it will only help Washington.

                      nice info Hung

                      (May I call you Hung)?

I agree with both your picks......especially the statement that "everybody thinks Vegas is giving away free money tonight"! Very very true......I once in a while can find a true "error in the lines" but not very often. The boys have their money in place already on OSU so now they can "line up" the rest before tip off! I believe you have both these games pegged! Nice write ups! BEST OF LUCK!! Gv
I am NOT schizophrenic......and NEITHER am I! Just paranoid that fear may overcome my insanity!

As close as Vegas has been setting their lines lately, I also played a middle in the Horns game.
