I didn't really post anything for the last few days as we have a plethora of OUTSTANDING guys and gals currently putting out great plays and some times more is less....or less is more...or Les in Nessman...or....... : - )

I honestly didn't think anyone was really playing them much or at all anyway as most people really trend to the single 20 star or GOY type conf game-o the day type plays. Plus I have a tendency to toss in humor and babble when lots of peeps probably just want to log tendencies and plays of people.

So I have just been saving some typing time. I always try to input something when someone asks if I feel it will help but there are a BUNCH of good people on this site putting out their picks.... and I have had a tendency to post anywhere from 5 to 10 plays on a busy day which is way more than most people care to look at and have time to sift through.......So I just figured to save some effort and clutter and just put something out on peoples threads a game at a time if there is a lean one way or the other.

I went big on Hawaii at home! Looks like we finally get one of those big mismatches you always hope for!! Took Hawaii -7....the over....Hawaii -2.5 2nd half..over for the game and over for the 2nd half..!!.and even went a big chunk on the "HOMER" m/l!! When It's Good, More Is More

Goldvike. Now you know someone is following your plays (me) and you should know I would have been poorer without them. I agree there are many outstanding handicappers here, which is why I may use the information here a little differently than someone who just plays GOY's or top selections with lots of stars.

What I am doing is trying to identifly who the best of the outstanding handicappers are, which can be hard when only some people post their records. Each day I look for their picks and I use my schedule to put their initials and strength of their pick next to the team they have picked. Right now, I'm writing down all the picks from about 7 or 8 of the people here, plus certain picks from others, such as Homers System Plays and Shorty's 10* plays for example. Then, by looking next to each team in my schedule I can see how many like that team and, in most cases, how many units or stars they gave their pick. It's a little more complicated than that but each night I can usually find anywhere from 3 to 6 games that are worth a large play. There are just a couple of people here, yourself included, who can make one of these plays even stronger.

This is time-consuming but finding which games and teams to play this way has been a very good money maker, once I had an idea how to use all the great picks and info here. GV, I hope just knowing how Homer and I feel about your plays is enough to have you reconsider not posting them anymore. I can tell, I'm missing many of your plays when you put them on other threads a game at a time.

PS: There was more to Les than met the eye. That's one show I do miss. Remember the Turkey Drop. For those that don't, WKRP had a Thanksgiving promo which entailed parachuting hundreds of free live turkeys over downtown Cinc. Les couldn't find any live turkeys, so he used frozen ones instead.
