A great night on Thursday going 6-2 (+10.4 units)!! These are my plays for Friday.....
NCAA HOOPS
5 STAR: St. Peters (+1) OVER IONA
Iona is only 8-17 straight up this season and they were beaten by St. Peters earlier in the season by 16 points. I don't see the home court advantage making a 17 point turn around here. In fact, Iona does not have much of a home court advantage at all, only posting a 6-5 straight up record on their home hardwood this season. Iona is also only 3-9 against the spread when playing a team with a winning record this year and they are only 5-10 against the spread in conference play. St. Peters has feasted on bad teams this season with a record of 8-2 against the spread when playing teams that are under .500 and they have been strong in conference play posting an 11-5 record against the spread in those games. Iona has really struggled in games in which they are installed as a small favorite. The Gaels are only 3-7 straight up and 2-8 against the spread in their last ten games as a favorite of 2 points or less, including five straight losses. The Gaels are also coming off of a win over Rider on Tuesday, but they are only 1-6 against the spread after a win this season. Iona will also be without leading scorer DeShaun Williams who was suspended last week for the remainder of the season. Williams led the Gaels with 19 points in their 92-76 loss earlier in the year to St. Peters. Without Williams, Iona just does not have the firepower to outscore the Peacocks and the nations leading scorer Keydren Clark who went off for 38 points in the first meeting. St. Peters is 4-1 against the spread in games played at Iona since 1996 and I look for the Peacocks to get the win here. Take the points, the wrong team is favored!

1 STAR: MILWAUKEE (-2) OVER Memphis
I like the Bucks in this spot seeking revenge for a 20 point loss at Memphis earlier in the season. Milwaukee is 18-11 against the spread in revenge games this season, 16-8 against the spread when playing a team with a winning record and 4-1 against the spread as a home favorite of 3 points or less this season. The Bucks are 4-2 straight up against Memphis in the last six meetings and the Grizzlies are only 2-4 against the spread as a road underdog of 3 points or less over the last three seasons. Lay the points!

ARENA FOOTBALL
1 STAR: Austin (PICK) OVER COLORADO
I have to go with the expansion Wranglers here. Austin has been the surprise team of 2004, beating Southern Division powerhouses Orlando and Tampa Bay in consecutive weeks. Austin has the AFL’s top rated offense led by veteran quarterback John Kaleo. The Wranglers have been an offensive machine so far in 2004, averaging 52.5 points per game and have scored touchdowns on all 11 of their red zone possessions. Colorado's has offensive weapons as well, but their offense is just not clicking right now and they are turning the ball over. Since coming into the league, Colorado is only 6-12 against the spread at home. I look for the Wranglers to make it three wins in a row here!
