This is an opinion. No statiscal fact. Only come from my experience playing golf. Today I'm going to look for golfers who had tough matches yesterday. They are match play 'hardened'.
I'm leaning towards another play on Colin and D Clarke. My concern with Colin is his health. Clarke has won this tourny. He is ice. Nothing rattles him.
are you talking about the mental part of the game?
I think tiger would come out on fire today but i will not play him.
if he wins though i will play against him tomm. with some value
"The thing about stroke play is the best player that week wins,'' he said. "In match play, the best player that week doesn't always win. It's the best player that particular day.''
IMO the mental part of the game is extremely important in match play.
C Montgomerie +118 tough match yesterday vs. Price. If he's healthy not many player better at match play. He's crushed the Americans in Ryder Cup play. (I F*CKING HATE HIM).
D Clarke -125 Solid match play golfer. He has the perfect demeanor for match play. Won this tourny in 2000
B Curtis +226 I'm going keep going against Phil. Lots of value playing against Phil. He's very popular. If he gets in a tight match he will choke. We all saw how Ben played with ice in his vein in the British Open. At +226 great odds. He won't rattle playing Phil. He beat a very good Charles Howell yesterday.
The Greates Golf Handicapper in the World Has Returned
Current Golf Record: 1-0 +1.0*
1* SMicheel +125 over DThoms
From ESPN.com:
These two former PGA champions each needed extra holes to win their first-round matches. Give the edge to Micheel, as Toms is still a little rusty.
